BrineTime respects your right to control your personal data. You can request deletion of some or all of your data at any time — without needing to delete your account.

How to Request Data Deletion

Send an email to [email protected] with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" and include:

  1. The email address associated with your BrineTime account.
  2. Whether you want specific data deleted (e.g. match history, profile info) or your full account and all data deleted.

We will process your request within 30 days and confirm by email when complete.

What Gets Deleted

Depending on your request, we can delete:

  • Profile information — your name, email address, and skill level.
  • Match history — your personal match records and scores.
  • Tournament registrations — your registration records across all tournaments.
  • Full account — all of the above, plus your login credentials.

What May Be Retained

Some data may be retained after deletion for legitimate purposes:

  • Tournament records — anonymised match results (no name or email) may be retained to preserve the integrity of tournament history for other participants.
  • Legal obligations — any data we are required to keep by applicable law.

Retained data will not be linked back to your identity.
